Today is your gift.
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard various people say “Wow, this year just flew by!” or “I cannot believe the year is almost up.” or “Where did the month go?” Have you noticed that it seems time slips by so quickly that we find ourselves trying to remember what we did with it? Sometimes I’ll go to work on Monday and a co-worker will ask me what I did over the weekend. It stumps me almost every time! I simply cannot recall anything particular that I did. If you asked me what I did a few weekends ago, I’m pretty sure I’d draw a blank.
Then there are the week days. I know I went to work because I received a paycheck, but other than that – what did I do? Just exist?
